Hi guys, Andrew here from Ontario, Canada. Interested in eventually starting a model railroad, had one as a younger boy but when my parents moved to a smaller house there was no room. I have my own house & children now & hoping to start something we can share. Also interested in the progress railways have made since the beginning and looking to learn more about railways more localized to Canada (CN, CP, VIA). Greetings from another newbie. Some of my fondest memories as a kid were with my dad and his Model RR. I'm thinking of doing some CN stuff on my layout since they acquired the Elgin, Joliet, & Eastern line south of where I live.
Welcome aboard, Andrew! I've certainly noticed that there are some manufacturers doing a fair amount of Canadian themed items. And it's great to hear that you're approaching the hobby as a family affair.
