I was on this forum when I lived in Kodiak Alaska, posting as Kodiak Island Modeler. I left when my wife contacted terminal Cancer in 2016, and passed in 2017. I had an HO scale switching layout and the an N scale out and back layout, both left behind when I left. I worked as a landscape photographer, but retired when my wife became ill. I've now settled into Hemet California, hence the new name of Hemet Hermit, and am beginning a small layout (4 ft X 10 ft). I'm originally from Oskaloosa Iowa, and model the Midwest, calling my layout the Iowa & Midwest Central, a name that I coined when I was a teenager. Thank you for having me back.
Welcome back! I have merged your old account into this new one, so you still have all your old posts, etc.
Love your new handle. I too lost my wife two years ago, four months short of our 60th anniversary. I share your pain in that regard.
Hi HH, welcome home. We, most of us, are still here. The coffee's still hot in the "meeting" room. So come on in and have a seat.
