I've been reading this forum for a few days and decided to go ahead and join. Lots of good info on here. I am just starting out jumped into n-scale I thought smaller size would be nice. I made a table 6'*4' and have a track set up flat for now till I figure out what to do next. Got a whole box of train stuff at a garage sale for 50$ track, 8 cars and a couple engines, 3 power packs and enough wire to be dangerous. I'll try and get a pic up of table. when I get off work in morning. Thanks for your time. Chris Sent using Tapatalk 2
Hi Chris, Welcome to the TrainBoard. Sounds like your garage sale box was a great find. Join us on the N-Scale Forum, lots of friendly folks there.

Chris, that's a nice table configuration, lots of workable area. Those Bachmann passenger cars have excellent free rolling trucks if they're anything like mine. The 0-6-0 looks like a Bachmann also. If so, then Mark's (Spookshow) write up has good information. http://www.spookshow.net/bach262.html You've got a good start for $50.
Looks like a nice start! Always remember- It's your empire. So, go have fun and don't let anything stop you.
That does look like a very good start at a decent price. And I, for one, love the bit about enough wire to be dangerous...Welcome Aboard!
