Hey Guys! My name is Brady. I live in Nashville, TN. I have recently gotten back into my favorite hobby. I have begun my research, pulling down the boxes, getting my workshop setup...all that. So much to do, so little time. :teeth:
Welcome to Trainboard, buckwheeeat. Back into the hobby? Like to hear a report from your past experiences in the hobby. Many folks here to help with any questions you might have.
Hey Buckwheeeat, Welcome to the TrainBoard, and good to hear that you're coming back to where you left off. We'll be happy to help you.
Welcome to TrainBoard! It's always something- Not enough free time, money, space for the layout.... Don't let anything stop you from diving back in and having fun!
Welcome aboard. Can't wait until you compare the old stock to the new offerings. What a difference a day makes. Anyway enjoy and post pics of some of your progress as time goes along
Thanks for the Welcome messages. I will take a few pictures of my finished workshop in the next couple days and post them. Once I get my old boxes unpacked I will probably take a few pics of some of my old stuff. It's funny, finding some of my old handy work when I was only about 12. Cheers! edit: How do I upload my own avatar and add a signature?
Welcome aboard. We're glad to have you. You can add your signature by clicking here. You can select an avatar from our list of avatars by clicking here. Custom avatars are a perk for our financial supporters. Again, welcome aboard. Charlie
Here are a few pictures of all the stuff I found from when I was around 12, my work bench, and the platform with the power and fridge will be where I run my 2x's and build my platform.
Wow, that sure is a bunch of stuff. You're going to have fun sorting it out and getting it running again. I can't help you because all my HO stuff was from the 50's, so I don't recognize any of yours. I've been in N since the early 80's.
I can not wait to get home every day and mess with stuff. Now that I have gotten organized I am beginning to start some of the layout and theme thinking. Fun stuff
