I'm lucky enough to have a model railroad club within a few miles of home and will be looking into joining up with them once I'm fully retired (planning to cut the last tie in the spring). My wife and I are avid tandem bicyclists (photo attached) and are looking forward to getting out and riding...but in the meantime it's model trains and treadmill time. Thanks for letting me join you_all and I'll be picking your collective brains as I slowly get back into a hobby that's entranced me since I was knee-high to a grasshopper.
Ah, home of Western Illinois University! In the latter 1970s, a number of my friends chose WIU and had good success there.
