I'm Allen. I'm getting back into the hobby, haven't setup the trains in nearly 30 years. Pulled them out of the box, cleaned the track, cars and engines. Took the motors apart, cleaned, oiled, greased and now they run like new. I recently got some fastrack, wow this stuff is awesome.. I'm still on the tubular track but switching over slowly.

Track layout.. not sure yet.. I have to figure out where in the basement this hobby will go. I have an aircraft in parts in the basement, so space must be thought out before occupying. :)

So, Hello everyone. This hobby isn't foreign to me, just forgotten over the years.
    Allen

Hi Allen, Welcome to the Train Board, and back to model railroading. Flying airplanes is enjoyable, but model trains can be worked with and run at night, in bad weather, in fog, in....well, just about any time. I think the choice is clear...TRAINS ! <grin>

Welcome, Allen. I'm with Hank, trains in the basement work a lot better than planes in the basement! Enjoy your return to the hobby!

Welcome aboard, Allen. What aircraft parts do you have? Actual or model? I am an airplane nut (the real ones.) Also, are you a Red Wings fan? Hockey is another of my likes.
