Joined to see what was going on in my old hobby. Thinking about getting back in but there isn't much going on with some of these companies as far as motive power. Intermountain for instance hasn't done a 2nd release of the Big Sky Blue F7s or any of the roads associated with BN, that is disappointing. Atlas code 55 track looks pretty good. Alot of different cars are available from a variety of manufacturers in spite of some consolidation (Intermountain, Deluxe, Caboose, Fox Valley, etc.).
Welcome to TrainBoard! N scale? Well, it has changed a lot over last couple of decades, and for the better. Still plenty of wish lists, but likely that is true in any scale.
Welcome aboard, "neighbor." You are correct about N scale having made a lot of progress. Have fun with the window shopping and by all means, take the plunge!
Welcome aboard! I'm a huge CO rail nut, spent plenty of time in the mountains west of Denver chasing trains.
