Hello everybody, decided that I would intoduce myself. I am an Arizona all my life native, Student at the U of A, Engineering major, 19 years(momentary dislapse, I am still writing 18 and my birthday was three months ago) of age, and hooked on thrains since I was about three years old. Every time my parents drove near a track, I always prayed for trains. First real set at 8, but never have had more then storage space. My interests are in late steam era, right before the dawn of diesels...I really like the big heavy steamers. When I get some money...well, I am pretty set for the time being. I get most of my stock off of eBay. The quality isn't always the best, but for the price, I'm happy. I prefer the Southwest region, something that incorporates the SP, the UP, the AT&SF, but I am also trying to find a way to add Pennsylvania. I know I will think of something. My latest discoveries have been the wonderful virtues of the Kadee copuler, look so Much Better then those crap X2 or what ever they were called. Dag Nabbit!!! You guys have got me hooked on this forum in only two days. There ought to be a surgeon general's warning on this page! Watash, love the Roundhouse!
If you are just getting into the Kadee's i recommend you start buying the 58s if you can... While they are not perfect scale, they are quite nice. It will save you down the road

I guess you guys thought you may get some response to this AGE thing. Now Benny and Stickymonk, do you really feel that way? Heaven help us if you do.
I just turned 37 yesterday and by no means do I feel "OLD"! My hobby keeps me young, so do some other activities but we can't get into on that on this website... Anyway, if Watash can act like a pup at his age (no offence intended Washie!), we should have no complaints, RIGHT!

Welcome to the roundhouse of the TrainBoard Benny!! Happy BirthDay Brent! You elderly guys will have to take care you don't lose your balance and fall into the pit! I have to side with Gats, when he asked me how I feel, I have to be honest. I tell him, "With both hands, like I always do, sometimes!" Benny and Sticky, Telegrapher and I are keeping our whistle hand in shape, waiting for the day that Steam rises again!
Thanks for all the well wishing, but it's become just another day on the calender for me. Oh, yeah... She's 34, but makes me feel 18! Then I go home and feel 105! Seudilous: SIR! YOU'RE BACK! Sextimus: Yes, she almost broke it! Seudilous: No...I MEAN...You've RETURNED! (From "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to The Forum") OK, Let's get back to the trains!
