    Hi

in the last 6 month I build a new layout, called "Heinzenberg".
This was an original Staition in the "Area Taunus", north of Frankfurt / Main.
The station was a part of the "Weiltalbahn", the line connectet the cities of "Grävenwiesbach and Weilburg".
In September 1969 they stopped the operation and rebuilt all the tracks. The station house is now privat propertie.
The idea for this layout was, a small layout, only a part with universal modules around and behind.

And it must be an "easy" layout with only 1 turnout (I had only 1 right turnout from "König, original turnout 1/9 = 15,5 cm). The turnout and the tracks are all code 40 finescale and handmade by myself.
The module heads are from "Jörger", the turnouts are Märklin like, but handmade by Stefan from Hungaria.

I try to build as original as I can (ok, it is to short), but the station house ist original, made by Ratimo and the lamps at the platform are also like the original from the 50/60 years, made by Z-Norm.

My luck was, a friend of mine lives in the town and he knows the owner of the station, so it was possible to visit the area and make a lot of photos (background) and I find some special things like an oil bunker and a cistern.

At the exibition in Friedrichshafen (premiere) I made a video about Heinzenberg:
