Odd1rails; here's a prototype for you:



Wrecked Horizon Coach 54045 (?) sits on the US Govt Railroad wye at Camp Pendleton, CA (ex-ATSF Fallbrook Branch). Possibly parked here to keep it out of the public view while it waits to move, rather than in the nearby Oceanside yard. Photo taken circa 1993.

My understanding is that their was a height issue in one of the tunnels so they ended up rerouting the engines to get around the Moffat area.

How about a work cart that rides on its own set of rails on top of flat cars?
