While on vaction passing through Hayti on a side trip from Forida to Kansas City I approached the I-55 overpass over the Frisco's Cauthersville Branch expecting to see the right-of-way removed, which was still in place, though barely visable, on a 1995 visit. Much to my surprise the line has been rebuilt with 115-lb rail including the rebuilding the all crossings in Hayti and a new concrete bridge just west of the overpass, but the line still ends about a mile east of the I-55 overpass somewhere between the stations of Schult and Cunningham. Maybe they are planning to put in a shipping hub there? I'm glad I've got the before and after photos! Later. Roger
