Hardwiring Trucks to Frame

Hey, just curious.... With Atlas hardwiring locomotive trucks to the metal frame I wondered if anyone out there in N scale land has attempted to do this on their own Loco?

If so, would they be willing to share a photo as I'm considering trying it out myself...

I have hardwired from the contacts on the trucks to a decoder. Works better than you can imagine. I use pieces of scrap wire from decoder installations.

Sorry, Don't havea photo, and if I did, I don't know how/am interested in online photo sharing.

I will tell you, however, that the one example I currently own is a Kato E9, which has the tall contacts coming from the truck to the top of the mechanism where, in my case, it sometimes made contact. Just not all the time. So I soldered the wires from the decoder to the tops of the contact and it never fails.
