I have been trying to find the Uhlenbrock 73400 decoders for a while now, ever since Torsja showed one installed in the boiler of one of his locos.

The size is 10.8 x 7.5 x 2.4 mm, which will fit my AZL brass locomotives because the shell is 8mm wide space inside due to the 8mm Faulhaber motor. I ordered for the size alone!

Here is the Google Translated writeup from the Uhlenbrock website:

I have had 4 on order from Euro-Rails in Canada for over a month, but have heard nothing, then I found another Uhlenbrock dealer in Ohio, DCCTRAIN, so after several emails with DCCTRAIN (Alexander Kolesnikov) he was able to order me some.

They ordered 10 wired and 2 with plugs for the store, which I was told should be in within 10 days, so I took 5 of the wired ones. If you want some of this early order, you should move fast, because Model Railroad Season has started, but the Christmas Backorder Season is still a couple weeks off. :shade:
