If you are like me, one of the pictures that remains in my brain is of John Armstrong holding an electric eraser. I know he uses it a lot; he does it the old fashion way, paper and pencil. I am not using a CAD program for my layout and am instead designing it right on the shelf layout I have built. After a very short time, I realized that John A was on to something with an electric eraser. I spotted one at Michael's ($15 Canadian so cheaper down south folks) but picked it up for $7.50 on a %50 store wide sale. I recommend this handy tool, because if you think about it (and you are using the paper and pencil method) you should be using your eraser a lot; with changes, modifications and starting over a number of times. Oh! And the name of the tool; it called the "helix." I kid you not. Anyways my tip of the month. [ 14. September 2002, 21:39: Message edited by: rsn48 ]
Sounds like a handy gadget. I've never heard of an elecric eraser before. Still it's not going to help when you start wearing through the paper. I have some peices of paper that have been erased so much that they're probably closer to black than white now.
