    Hard to follow, listening to him gasping for air.

    Anyhow, his idea did not seem to be helpful, insofar as making the engine itself actually operate better.

    An electronic track cleaner? Did some investigating, found this here (for DC systems only)

    "To be realistic, electronic track cleaners do not really "clean" the track; more accurately, they help
    compensate for dirty track. In effect, they give your locomotives that necessary nudge whenever
    it's needed, automatically and transparently"    ​

    Would prolly wreak HAVOC with my pulse modulators . .
