Besides web sites of the Missouri Pacific society and Union Pacific museum, please advise to where I may refer about the Gulf Coast Lines and its railroad subsidiaries like the New Orleans, Texas & Mexico; Orange & Northwestern; New Iberia & Northern; Iberia, St. Mary & Eastern; Sugarland; Asherton & Gulf; and Houston & Brazos Valley. I've visited the web pages for the GCL and some of its railroads.

The Handbook of Texas Online has a lot of information on the different MoPac lines in Texas. For instance the I-GN and NOT&M are shown in these links. George C. Werner, a very knowledgeable railroad historian, wrote most of those articles. I even wrote a little article on the Sugar Land Railroad that is on our club web site. Also Handbook of Texas Sugar Land Railroad.

    Gulf Coast Lines in Louisiana

The Handbook of Texas Online/Texas State Historical Association web site is an excellent sources for Gulf Coast Lines' railroads and the International-Great Northern RR.

I wish to learn what sources to which I may refer to obtain information about GCL's railroads in Louisiana like the New Orleans, Texas & Mexico Ry. and its predecessor Colorado Southern, New Orleans & Pacific Ry., and New Iberia & Northern and Iberia, St. Mary & Easterns RRs.
