Hello All! Great to be here! I'm an ATSF guy all the way. Topeka native. Father was a 3rd gen ATSF engineer. I've been into 3-rail scale for sometime, but my wife and I are in the process of downsizing homes. I'm abandoning my 1200 sq ft basement for a 100 sq ft room or maybe a 180 sq ft shed. Joining trainboard in hopes of it being a strong HO community that I can bounce ideas off of. I've started collecting some early 40s ATSF rolling stock and a few downtown deco building kits - hope to do a steam layout - always been a big fan of the 4-6-4 and 4-8-4. Jake
There is a lot of HO support here as well as non-scale modeling knowledge that is useful everywhere. Welcome aboard. I think there may be a few Santa Fe folks around too if I recall correctly.

Thanks Bill! I will do. I had started a build before we decided to move - so I'll be packing up and starting fresh in the next couple months. I've got several downtown deco kits i'm in the middle of - but might have to wait for photos til I get resettled in the new space - I've mainly been racing around, getting the house in order for sale. I am collecting rolling stock and in the market for a few steamers
