I can't sleep and stumbled across this forum. Thought I'd sign up and see if I can learn anything or be of any assistance. My railroading interests lie mainly in signaling and traffic control, and I am happy to help others with what I know and learn what I don't. I have not pursued model railroading for a number of years, and I do miss it some, but I have been involved in the "V-scale" community for while instead. My favorite railroad is probably the Burlington Northern, but about anything "train" can catch my eye. I maintain a website dedicated to railroad enthusiasts and hobbyists as a reference for interpreting U.S. and Canadian railroad signals. I hope to add more robust guides and information to this site when I have the time, but am happy to answer questions as well. Happy Railroading!
Hi Jovet, Welcome, happy to have you on board. Just glanced at your NYC chart, clear out and understandable. I'll study and compare them all later. Thanks.
Welcome to TrainBoard, Jovet. Seems to be a lot of information on your site! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks, all, for the warm welcome. My cursory searches haven't found many people struggling with signaling issues on here, but there have been some interesting signaling-related posts. One of the interesting things to me has always been how different signaling is in different places, and yet how similar. Model railroad signaling sure has come a long ways since the days I was trying to play with it.
