We went to the last iteration, over Thanksgiving Weekend. (My mom still lives two towns away.) This was a homecoming of sorts since I used to attend this show.

Greenberg is what I call "the traveling circus" -- there are a set of dealers who regularly attend these shows, supplemented by private dealers and local vendors, as well as exhibitors. The regular attendees will likely not be flexible on pricing. You might have better bargaining luck with others, but keep in mind that it's a two day show.

If the last iteration of this show is any indication, there will be plenty of N Scale and also a whole lot of Lionel and American Flyer, along with a goodly amount of Horribly Oversize of course. There will also be Barbie Dolls, slot cars, and other non-model railroad related material. And the place will be packed. Prices will range from reasonable to "Eligible for the eBay Humor thread."

Most of my budget was spent at one place, an N Scale dealer that I believe can also not be named here (TransmissionJoe, I will PM you the name) who had some very attractive prices on a nice variety of stuff. I finally broke down and picked up a Kato "North Pole Express" set with DCC already installed. My wife liked the set too, so that sealed the deal.

It took us about two hours to cover the entire show. I hit all of the relevant tables at least twice.

Someone on OGRR said there's a decent amount of N for sale at the Edison show?

I don't know what OGRR is. There was a decent amount of N Scale at the previous iteration of the show over Thanksgiving weekend as I noted above.

Although "past performance does not indicate future results."
