    I have seen them used (but in HO) and the stuff looks pretty good, and it is a close representation of the area you want to do, but at $27.00 for a 12"x19" piece I hope that it is only a small section you're doing. Although it involves some more work, if you are doing a large area you can achieve the same effect with some green fake fur from Walmart for a lot cheaper.

    That's a bit pricey for a large amount of real estate to cover.

    Most folks in HO use it for very small scenes.


    Here is a site where the modeler uses both for his scenery. The site is quite informative and shows you how to use "faux fur" that you can buy at Walmart or any Craft store.

    It's on the list of many projects that I have to try.

    Yes....I don't care for the price! I will have to look into that Faux Fur too.
