GP38 before and after

I was digging around in the archives tonite (that dirty old shoebox ) and found what I remembered to be an example of one of my favorite railroading events: the "before" and "after" shots of the same unit!

So, behold! The before shot (anyone care to guess what road?? )

actually, it is an old L&N GP38.

 

Somebody must be cheating! O.K., it was an L&N unit... you guys are too smart

I used to live for these shots! I know I have a bunch more once I dig around in that big ol' shoebox
