Okay. This is so blurry that if it weren't on TrainBoard I would be wondering whether it was even a rail line. Do you intentionally ratchet down the resolution?

Seriously. This is reminiscent of the Scott Stutzman Special (which turned out to be Newton, Kansas, incidentally).

There's greenery here, so it's probably not the middle of a desert, ocean, Greenland, or Antarctica. It's also not right in the middle of the city. Well, that has narrowed it down a bit, now, hasn't it.

The loco looks light blue, sort of the same light blue as the Maersk scheme locos. There is one in that getup in the Portland area, the only SDP40F in existence, or so I am told. The greenery is green enough that it COULD be NW Oregon, but it could also be just about anywhere between, oh, 30 and 60 degrees N or S latitude.

Are you sure it's not someone's oNeTrak module photographed using an old digital camera while standing on a ladder overhead? Those look like Heki trees.

That lokey looks too short to be a SDP40F.... Could be a GP something.:tb-smile:

The shadows from the trees appear to be going from right to left, so the shadow from the trestle(?) would indicate that its rails are to the right of what y'all think is a locomotive. Further, and based again on its shadow, it appears to be a one track trestle. This would mean that where the object (lokey?) is sitting may be an access road. In other words, the lokey may be a building, or truck, or.....?

Darren, I'm now convinced you're a nasty person who enjoys confusing decent folk.....:confused2::biggrin2::biggrin2:

I'm still not totally convinced that it isn't a pen cap lying sideways on someone's oNeTrak module.

    Maybe? :D

OK, I will give you a hint, it's not a Boxcar; but, it is RR Equipment on a RR line [IMG]

    Hmmm.....
    - grassland, no evidence of human habitation or agriculture
    - minimum trees, possibly harvested for fuel in the past, or possibly natural
    - high limestone content to the soil
    - heavy erosion, though no evidence of water in the recent past, or river activity
    - limestone outcropping evidence of earthquake or volcanic acivity, but not recent

The above could indicate the high Andean plateau of Chile, Peru, or Argentina. Since His Royal Sneakiness is noted for being sneaky, this could well be part of a railroad that crosses the Andes from Chile to Argentina.

Darren's last statement could indicate a railbus or other self-propelled vehicle. The top photo could be a passing siding with the vehicle awaiting arrival of the train approaching from the bottom of the second photo.

    Oh, Good Grief....well done, Scott!

I should follow the old adage...'tis better to sit quietly and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.:tb-embarrassed:

I was wondering what happen to you as I thought you might have spotted this one right away given how fast you got my other one I picked in Switzerland. At some point I will have to share some video I took while riding this. It's was fantastic!
