    The siding on the loop itself was built in 1909 and named "Walong" in honor of District Roadmaster W. A. Long.

    little late getting in here, but this small town illinois boy has been to tehachapi twice in the last 12 months... and planning another!!! if you were any closer to heaven it would be an out of body experience :)
