The unit (MTXT 325) is in St.Paul at the Jackson Street Roundhouse for the Winter. Eric Hopp just finished patching the nose where the lights had been places by one of the BN shops. I'm guessing this one would get sent out for the full paint job when it comes time. The Roundhouse also houses the Hustle Muscle.
It is the original number. It was built in May of 1966 as GN 325, then became BN 9855, BN 6399, BNSF 6327, MNTX 6327 and now MNTX 325. BN never had a #325 on its roster. A long way to go to get where it started.
Cool beans. What needs to be done mechanically, to the loco? Obviously, it needs Omaha orange and Pullman green.

BN 325 Yes 325 was the origial Gn number, when more funds come in, it will be painted back to big sky blue.
