Caught a couple of GM's newest Eastbound throught Youngstown this morning on CSX. These units are HUGE!
See the photo that Tyler Eaton posted, of the GM72? on its side, in a derailment out here in Co recently?? Has a photo of it, with tail end just barely dipping into the river below. Those on Train Orders may have seen it already. If anyone is interested, I can see if he'll permit me to repost it here.
KCS had two of 'em (the EMD73 for sure) in testing on its mainline, especially on the Rich Mountain grade as helpers. From what I've been told, the crews had no beefs with these engines.
