Glendale,KY Depot

The depot in Glendale,KY(where I've filmed quite a few CSX trains) has burned down this morning.

It had been turned into a resturant. I ate there once last summer,the food was good,the place seemed really fancy.

The Louisville news affilates' websites should have something up soon.


Hate to see history go up in smoke.

Oh man, thats horrible!!! I just took my wife there on a date not too long ago. I had heard that the depot wasn't in its origional location. I wonder where the origional location was? L&N depots are becoming scarce now.

 

News reports say that damage was confined to the second floor where the owner lived.
It looks bad but the intent is to rebuild it.

I believe they're going to have some kind of fundraiser to help rebuild the depot.

 

It's bad to hear that. I do hope they rebuild and reopen that soon; bet it was a nice place to eat.
