On my way home from Maine and after stopping to see my granddaughter in Arkansas, I drove on US270, paralleling the ex-Rock Island Choctaw Route, when I saw this bridge: SPanning the Little Fourche Maline Creek east of Wilburton, OK, this bridge carries the reminder of the long-gone CRI&P. The trac is now owned by the state of Oklahoma, and is leased to the Arkansas-Oklahoma RR, which runs between Red Oak and Oklahoma City, OK and switches the GM assembly plant in Okie City.
