I just got my new GG-1, put it on the tracks for a test drive and..... it derails on every curve. Investigation shows one of the "trucks will not swivel correctly.... feels tight, like it's rubbing on something. Anybody else experience this?
Panic is over![] Apparently this is a common or, at least, expected problem as they had a fix on their site. The tabs from the trucks sometimes slip off the bronze strips on the chassis dring shipping, apparently. Easy cure... remove the shell and with a tooth pick (or such) push the tab upwards into the frame.... the tab will go right into place on top of instead of beside the contact strip.
