I downloaded Processing 3, 64 bit for Win7, and unzipped it to a new directory. There appears to be no install separate program.

That appeared to work OK, but when I try to start the Processing3 application, I get this error:

Error getting the processing the settings folder

Anyone running this configuration? The application terminates at this point.

I don't have a settings folder and the Forum for Processing didn't help.

I'm running Win7 X64 ultimate, and just unzipped the Processing 3.0.2 zip file and ran it where it is. I'm a newbie to this but no problem here. Here is a screenshot of the DCCpp_Controller sketch opened.

I have Win7 Home Premium, and you can see the error I get.....I also unzipped the file into a blank directory.

I found the issue.....apparently Windows doesn't like special characters in a directory name, at least related to navigation to directories from processing.

The directory was called dcc++, and after I changed it to dccplusplus, the program starts fine. I haven't done anything beyond that, but the most obvious issue has been resolved.

    Windows sucks......
