Anyone know where I might find a Genesis UP SD70M for sale? I would prefer <$100 but am open to all suggestions. I have checked all the major stores and no luck. If you are willing to wait a little, they will be re-releasing their UP SD70M in the flag scheme in the near future. Be sure to get your hands on one early, as they are sure to sell out.
Where did you hear this? Do you know what number(s) they are planning on doing? I've got an undec about halfway detailed and a set of Microscale decals ready to go in the meantime. But if Athearn is going to release a flagged version, I might just have to expand the SD70M fleet, though at this rate I better be careful or I'll end up with a prototype size fleet. Tom
The Springfield, MA train show on the first weekend of February, talked directly to the Athearn Rep about it. No numbers planned at that point, nor a tentative release date, just that they will do the Flag Scheme.
