ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally had one, then got tangled up with an incoming phone call and got beat to posting. Good grief.
Oh my, I was about to start my post with "Sorry but..." Maybe I should have done that. So Ken how long time did you spend finding it?
Carsten, you are just toooooo good. It is indeed the Maine Eastern in Rockland, ME. I personally shot this enginehouse when I was in Maine during the winter of 2005-2006. They were using a Morristown & Erie RR C424 to switch out whale-belly covered hoppers lettered for Dragon Cement. This line normally runs excursion passenger trains during tourist season.
Well Friscobob, I have to say that, this could have been a lot harder to find. I went through my normal "procedures" checking to see if I could find a match in paintscheme, but I couldn't. Then my eye catched something that normaly isn't of any help, but this time, it gave away the state - the bottom line in the picture, and from there it only took around 10-15 minutes to find, and, it seems like I only beat Ken to it, because of an incomming phonecall. So, can we have another contest from your hand, please please, (voice in my head: must find location, must find location) LOL I really enjoy these games, they are of great fun to me, both on the hosts side and the finders side.
Hmm. Not sure. It didn't come like a lightning bolt. But I stumbled across it. I would have identified it by it's old owner, the Maine Central RR. Which is not quite the correct answer.
