Oh man I can not think of the place but is it in Nevada? Near some hoover dam or something like that...

 

Well, there's baseball fields. And the shadows are on the west side of things, so that suggests semi equatorial locale.

Hey, I was close, in the right state atleast!

 

This was a HUGE hint for me and I took a chance and started on the eastern most bounder point between the US and Canada and just chased it west until I came across the location.
