Hmmmm....I think it looks like a railroad track, aligned sorta north and south, though, knowing Darren, I could be way wrong. :tb-wacky:
Both the baseball diamond and olympic size pool have limited seating, like a large high school or small college. Also there appears to be a diving pool below the big pool. The apparent value of the facilities makes me think of cities rather than small towns, though a small college town is not out of the question. I assume it rains very little, if at all, since both pools are outdoors without cover. The surrounding area looks like the dry areas found in southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, or west Texas. I'm not including Oz because I see no evidence of a football (soccer) or rugby pitch which I assume is more important than baseball, though I don't know for sure.
Looks like driving on the left side of the road, and in the last pic it looks like an Aussie Rules football field (pitch?). Back to Oz!!
So who here has been to Traeger Park? Looks like you can get to it off of the Stuart Highway/Telegraph Terrace. :tb-biggrin: Looks like you'll have your choice of sports, Baseball, Cricket, Field Hockey, Swimming, Tennis.....but don't worry, if you sprain your ankle, the Alice Springs Hospital is right around the corner.:tb-biggrin:
