My take: No obvious electrification. Appears to be a 5 unit passenger train (DMU) The ants top right don't strike me as trailers, most likely buses. A few large modern buildings, else a lot of shacks, with a lot of rusted corrugated roofing. Could be third world, but I'm inclined to backwater of first or second tier Asian nation. Japan/China/India/etc.
Still looking for the past couple of hours, if this isn't the right country...:tb-err: It just _looks_ right, right type of buildings, little turntables. If I don't get it, at least I've found a lot of nasty places. So, if Mr. S. Lion wants to get on the looking side again, I've got the goods! :tb-tongue: Apropos to the area, but not the search, I've been battling a Tiger mosquito (an Asian illegal immigrant :thumbs_down for the past couple of days. Posted on the 28th, it's now the tooth. Still haven't found it, but getting there is half the fun (so they say). I've looked at places that I'd not have looked at before. I only started a couple of munchs ago, so I'm not toooo bothered. Mental stimulus is good to delay dementia. (so they say).

Kandy, Sri Lanka, almost dead center of the island:thumbs_up: 7* 17.27 N 80* 37.82E I started just south of Pakistan in Mobi, India, went down the SW coast, jumped to the Phillippines (try tracking RRs thru Manila), searched Indonesia before the Equator was mentioned, up to Singapore, thru Malaysia into Thailand, then into Cambodia and Vietnam and up into China. Almost a 4000 mile span.:tb-wacky: Figuring about where it should be is getting easier, actually finding it can be a grind.
It looks as if I'm committed to the Advanced/Expert part of this exercise now... Sorry, Scott, you'll have to deal with newbies :tb-biggrin:. My take/observations: while it's fun to score, I'd like to see more chatter. What draws you to this exercise in futility? Are you out there? Am I virtually alone? Let us get a thread/topic about what gets us to spend time on our Grail Quest. I started late in this game and have done fairly well, but would like to read more opinions.
