I believe Nelson Rockefeller was shown awarding a similar "dirty hand signal" on live TV at an Astros(?) game back in the 70's. IIRC, the announcer said something like "Yes folks, the Vice President is showing that his team is 'Number One'!".......:tb-err:
I'm guessing the Monday comment is some reference to American Television; because I don't get it. "Monday Night Football"? The photo on the other hand looks like any one of a number of little Italian towns I ran over looking for previous challenges - trouble is they all start to blur together Two tracks, maybe overhead, hard to tell. Warm with orange/brown or green landscape - suggests Mediterranean. Town has little streets that are not orthogonal / grid, but are house-lined. Again suggests Europe and small town not city.

No sign of the target yet; although parts of Italy practically scream "look! look at me! am I not perfectly beautiful?"; and just next door the South of France is commenting "do not neglect me, Monsieur". Albania is keeping it's opinion to itself - the strong silent type. Wonder if Mr Rogers knows where it is? Wandered around Bologna in particular. If it is there, I've just not got enough of the pattern to see the match. Roll on more clues
Well, more clue shows that my favourite parts of Italy just don't have that many trees.. But France in Autumn does.. Still no idea where it is Methinks having an Expert class has gone to Darren's Ego . . .
Found It! 49°39'27.11"N 6°17'55.11"E Near Mensdorf, Luxembourg. (The river on the green tile was the give away; even though I had to search all of France and Italy to find the same arrangement of tiles!)
