    Yup. It's hot.
    (I'm noticing a trend here)
I've seen that scorched-green look on quite a few places while touring for these here challenge things; Australia, USA, South America, Japan (not so much), Asia, Europe, ...

And it's just too blurry for me to recognise the wagons.

Keep in mind, when I "Quote" someone in hints I am trying to give you information indirectly about the correctness of those statement(s).

... So by not quoting my earlier post, you're trying to give information to suggest that I'm wrong in this thread's list? :)

    On to the photo:
.. And now it's too blurry to recognise the cars.
If the blue-purple blob top left is a truck, it's heading towards the right, and that suggests Drive On Left.
Coupled with the colour and foliage, that leads me to think West Island (sometimes called "Australia")
I bet there's more houses just out of view. Hiding in the corners and trying to avoid being photographed - I bet y'all know the type I'm talking about ;)

    My thoughts....

I've got to agree that based on that blue truck in the upper left, it does appear to be a drive on left country. So, being that my knowledge of drive on left countries is VERY limited.... I googled it :)

It seems that most of southeast Africa, India and immediately bordering countries, Australia and other polynesian countries close by, the British Isles (I think we can disregard them), Jamaica, Japan, and Suriname and Guyana in South America all come into play.

Now I guess it's time to go searching!

Hope this map helps decipher my jumbled mess of countries.

In other words; all the former English colonies and major trading partner Japan.
Something like 96% of countries drive-on-right; making us lefties a minority ;)

As an added bonus, many of those colonies are in warm near-equatorial countries that would suit that scenery.

    And for the new photo..
Clouds, an actual roundabout, vaguely hap-hazard roads. There's a square field above the tracks, (just next to a hollow-square blue roof building, just right of the left most cloud. Not that that's a helpful description!).

Nothing that really includes or excludes any of our list.

Alright, wandered over most of West Island, mostly looking for reddy/orange strips with clouds. While Aussie has more clouds than I expected, I couldn't find anything good that matched.

India, especially the southern part, has many more clouds and often the right shade of orange too. But still no luck. Around Erode, India in particular is what I've been looking for.

New Zealand had nothing even close (just had to be sure ;) )

Not that I've made an exhaustive search :)

    Wow. pounce. [IMG]
Nice hunting - on the upside it would have taken me many more days to get to Uganda.
On the downside, now I have nothing to do this weekend. :(

    Roll on A021! :D

I had a hunch it was Africa after the second clue was posted. I still skimmed around a bit for awhile,But the water in the last clue sent me back to the Rift valley.:)

Good job! I too thought it was in Africa, although I didn't think it was that far inland. I was concentrating more on the coastal countries down to South Africa. Oh well....on to the Intermediate level now
