GE GEVO units on BNSF

    First off I read somewhere that BNSF had some GEVO units for testing. Is it true?

    Next if they do, how are the units performing?

    I hope someone knows.

    I've actually got a couple shots on the roll of film in my camera. Still haven't gotten it developed.

    I don't know if it's for testing. I thought it was just part of their AC order. I've seen them mainly in Unit Grain service.

    I have seen but one, in Cheyenne on a manifest (M-DENLAU) from Denver, CO to Laurel, MT--the Montana Rail Link yard.

    General Electric Evolution series. Basically an AC4400CW with EPA Tier II emissions for '05.

    Well, 5725 and 5720 are headed south now! They left Cheyenne at about 1400MST.........

    No problemo! I have yet to see a UP version.
    The BNSF units are only demos, not owned by BNSF, but in BNSF colors....
