I was asked about this, so here goes. I didn't take any pics during the build. If I do another I will take pics. I used a 15" reversing track, a single straight section and a single curved section of track. First I studied pics of switches, both real and model. There are several varieties including those that bend the tracks to switch and those that hinge the track. I finally settled on neither of those... :startled: because of the way that the reversing track works. I used the lever and reversing mechanism as the basis for the track motion. The detents for the reversing mechanism were removed to allow the thing to move smoothly and easily. I still have a lot of finishing and painting to do as well as making an operating lever that looks real. You can see the cuts I made to section the track and make it lay properly. It actually works quite well, I'm pleasantly surprised.
