    time to take out two of my locos. both are usa trains sd40-2 custom painted by me.

    Just curious- What is the availability of detail parts these days? Do you need to scratch build them? Or can many be easily purchased?

    That is really nice custom work. I myself am not the great with customizing, I tried it, I just don't have the patience for it and I end up doing someting wrong. I'm definately am not a scratch builder so I soley rely on commercial made trains. I notice the both USA and Aristocraft are making more Canadian name railroads available commercially. Art Knapp in Canada is having both USA and Aristocraft make special run Canadian name railroads for locomotives and freight cars. He will ship to the USA and here is his website.
