can anyone provide me with information for
a web-site for any Frisco RR historical society?
Would also like sources of 35mm slides of Frisco passenger trains in order to purchase
some. Would also like to know of any particular
item that made FRISCO passenger trains unique to their travelers eg, the baked potato
on the NP, the private dining room on the Super Chief, you get the idea!
    Thanks in advance

    Charlie,

The official Frisco site is http://www.frisco.org

That site is hosted by Mike Corley and the "official" Frisco Museum site is there. However, I would not expect great amounts of help from the Frisco Museum regarding questions, etc.

I am a former member of the museum and since they have a habit (at least one fellow there) of threatening lawsuits against people who disagree with them, I will refrain from further comment.

    Charlie

There are also at least two Elists on the "net:

frisco@nshore.org and and Yahoo! Frisco Group

I went through a nasty fight on a list about the Frisco Museum, and that's all I'm going to say about that. Both these lists are good sources of info.

Hi Bob, I tried to go to the Yahoo Group link and it said it wasn't there. Hope you can lead me the right direction.

I ran into that Museum Group Lady at at train show at OKC several years ago. The membership seemed like a decent idea, especially considering the family connections I have to Frisco,
