I recieved some old AHM refrigerator cars that I had no use for at all. So, they would not go to waste I decided to see if I could build a long Frisco caboose to go with the Frisco F's I painted. It was kinda a different build. Had to reduce the length and remove the boxcar ends. Then I had to lower it by cutting off the bottom. As I went along I dicovered my PLANNING??? has some flaws...er like end platforms. they were made from scrap and attached and the steps are Gold Medal passenger car steps. The cupola was fairly easy using an extended vision type. I reduced it's width and lowered it. Had to add all new windows and frames as well as the baggage door. BUT...all in all, it was a fun build.
