Those looking for the bar, just step forward to the next car.

Still wearing its former name, The Olive Branch, started life as Minneapolis & St. Louis #52, built by Budd in 1948 as part of a six-car order.

The bar is at the far end.

Now if only Amtrak would equip their East Coast "Lounge" cars this way, instead of with those uncomfortable game table booths...Oh Well.

Thanks for the photos, Peirce. I thought that at least one of NYC's Observation Lounge cars had their forward portion seating set up this way, instead of with the coach style seating shown in your previous car?

I know you were all looking for it.

Now a view back the other way, from the bar.

I wish it was, along with the observation car I showed you. No, both those cars are in Arkville, New York.
