From the "External Feeds" section, incase you missed it. This would be my dreamhome, same area and all! https://www.trainboard.com/highball...acific-passenger-car-to-become-a-home.146740/
Very nice! Good to see that passenger car getting a new home. That story had popped up in my Google feed, but I hadn't read it, until now. So in terms of modeling, we just need Kato to get on the ball with an N Scale North Coast Limited...just saying.
I found an absolute gem of a video today; ride and view the North Coast Limited in 1953 from Butte, over Homestake Pass, Bozeman Pass, Livingston, Billings and Laurel, and down the CB&Q from Billings.
Huge traffic pileups yesterday around Bozeman. All the newbs who can't drive in snow. That whole area is ugly suburbia now. I do wonder, if the NP and NCL were still running, how much passenger traffic they might have? My thought is it would be heavy loads, with second sections in tourist or ski seasons.
You mean all the Californians and Texans that have moved there?! "Why are the roads so slippery around here, and what's this white stuff?!"
It is a pile of Californie's, and New Yorkers.Jersey'ns. Sadly, too many of them bring their horrible attitudes with them and after getting into these "cute and rustic" little towns and cities, they start clamoring for the luxuries they had wherever they came from. And they bring up their problem children, some of whom adapt and straighten out. But they are the exception, most of them kids don't change ..... Enough rant, sorry. I missed seeing that car go through!! It had to have gone through Glendive? Dang!!
