From my collection. This is a Frisco predecessor company. A Kansas City, Fort Scott & Memphis Railroad train order. Copied at Cabool, Missouri. date is 1893.

I didn't think so. Oh well. Guess they'll miss out on this one:

From the same joint form as Cabool. This time, much, much rarer! A Current River Railroad train order dated 1894. Copied at "WI" (Winona), Missouri.

Sorry, didn't mean to be so late to the party....count me in as one interested Frisco fan!!

IIRC, the second reporting marks (Kansas City, Clinton & Springfield) was given the nickname the "Leaky Roof Line". It was kind of a secondary line from Kansas City to Springfield, tha main line being the one via Ft. Scott and Ash Grove.

This is correct in later days. The Leaky Roof Line was actually the first mainline to KC. The line via Ft. Scott was a later line that replaced it.

The same thing happened with the mainline to Texas. The Central Division (from Monett,MO to Paris,TX via Arkansas) was actually the first mainline, with the line through Tulsa being the second mainline to texas, though it was the later day primary route.
