Tentatively my Foothill Rails site exploring ghost lines of the Sierra Foothills is now finally back online. Some items are not working or missing but the bulk is there. Hopefully everything will work out and I can start adding new stuff too. Keep your fingers crossed.
Well it took a new computer purchase as well to enable me to get back to work on the site. Looks like the site is staying clean of viruses finally and I've officially posted my first update since Feb. Not much but a couple new links and some book listings for now. I'm working on it. I have a bunch of Mich-Cal, AMC, Diamond & Caldor, Mountain Quarries, etc stuff to post in the future so stay tuned. For new or return visitors, check it out at Foothill Rails
Great News Got you re-listed on RAILSEEK tonight too!
Hey John: You've got to get back to Placerville and see the prograss on the Diamond and Caldor Railbus No. 10 (Tally Ho). Although we've got the engine out being rebuilt, the body has been returned to its 1953 configuration. Check the blog at http:eldoradowestern.blogspot.com/. Also, your Diamond Springs yard photos need updating. The track has been removed (we have it for the new rail park at El Dorado) and a hiking trail has been built in its place. Steven
I passed thru DS briefly last Saturday but didn't get to stop. Been thinking about reshooting everything there with the new digital anyhows. I did notice the new paved hiking trail on the east side of Mo Flat Rd. Has this been done on the west side too?
