I have bought a used Fine N Scale X29 box car in NKP lettering. The previous owner seemed to have handpainted the car, which was quite a mess, so I stripped it and intend to convert it to Pennsy, using Microscale #1200 decals. The car has plain riveted ends, as also shown in the decal's instruction sheet. The decals are Shadowed Keystone logos, so I think the timeframe is about 1956.
What kind of brakewheel did the car have at that time? Did they still have the old vertical brakewheel, or the horizontal one? I might have some newer style brakewheels left from Intermountain kits.
Another question is what kind of trucks are correct. Now it has MTL #1000 trucks, but I could as well use #1137 coil-elliptic trucks. Did X29 cars also use Crown trucks?

(I have posted this to the PRR-N Yahoo group, but would like to ask here as well)
