Hello, Since I'm considering to build one of B&M's / NH's FM P12-42's I'd like to ask whether there ever have been made a model (brass of resin) of the unit. Brown's book of brass shows nothing about it. I know this was a rare unit and another failed trial of the lightweight-era so it is doubtful that anybody ever cares about that model. However, I finally got some informations by several books (e.g. locom. cyclop. of 1956 and a few NH-related books...for 'John Quincy Adams'). Unfortunately the early diagrams seem to differ from the actual design regarding the nose length (diagrams show a shorter nose than photos of the prototype). To be honest, I'll intend to use the FM-unit as a alternative power unit for my Aerotrain-coaches (stretching modeler's license). Yes, I know, actually a Talgo-design was used for the Speed Merchant - but apart from the running gear and the window's design there is some resemblance...and there is no room in my house to lodge more coaches (additionally I won't trust that single-axle-Talgo-system for real passenger transport). Any help or info would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance & best regards Norman
