Hello, I've been toying with model trains, off and on, since I was 12 years old. I built a couple of Marklin Ho layouts during my youth, on the usual 8x4 plywood sheet. During that time I also dabbled in N scale with a Minitrix starter set my dad found on clearance. I went through the girl chasing phase, then returned to the hobby during my 30's. I built another Marklin layout. Then I went to N scale for a while. After a 10 year break to fly RC planes, I'm back to model railroading. I'm in my 50's now and i'm planning a HO layout using DCC. I've been lurking here and some of the other forums for a while now. Thought it was time to say hi. Frank
