OK, here is the first look right our of the machine, bad photography and all. We need to fix some construction problems (the right exhaust pipe is loose and hanging under the chassis), but this is it! We'll paint it over the weekend and mount the final photo Monday. But some of the detail is visible (hood ornament, undercarriage detail, fins, chrome strip, big bumpers and bumper guards, and my favorite - WING VENTS - sorry the mirrors didn't AND WON'T make it!) Now is the time to commit. Beginning Monday, we will add both an undecorated, and decorated PayPal button to the top of our VEHICLES page on our website ("www.SEARAILS.com"). We are estimating December 15 shipping. We still think we can meet the $5.00 undecorated price. There will be a shipping charge of $4.10, and a packaging charge of 1.00, so we encourage you to order multiples to save money. PLEASE combine orders if you can, but we can only bill one person per shipment. OK, so here's the question that will get us to make more. Is this acceptable - yes or no Thanks for your continuing support of Z scale Jim
It is hard to see in all white, but it looks great! And seems completely in proportion. The under body detail is nice, but perhaps overkill? If they would be easier (cheaper for you) to make without that it would be better, but if keeping those details is no problem I will take them and make sure I flip them over when my friends are over ; ) I'm very happy to see this car being made and I will buy 4 of them on Monday, just like I said I would. If you keep these different auto's coming I will keep buying, even a single 57' T-bird ; ) Thank you!
Acrylic Spray Paint! Jim, You should invest in a small can of acrylic spray paint in a light gray color. When you make a test model, like this 55 Bel Air, you can hit is with a few short light sprays of the light gray. It will show more of the fine details better instead of a white bright object.! Looks good! Tim
Wow, stay off the computer for a coule of days and miss all the fun. I'll be getting some of these on Monday, too. Probably try to combine an order with folks here in DC (Bryan, Fred, you listening?). Randy
