Does anyone have any info/photos of the old fire trains? I recently aquired a Westside HO 4 unit version and would like some help detailing and documnetning it. Thanks.

Suggest you contact the nearest U.S.Forestry Service, and the State Forest Fire Fighting Unit, and contact any fire department in your area, and ask questions. They will help and suggest things like look it up in the local Library, and they will have other sources. I have a fire fighting train too, but haven't detailed it out yet.
